And the first winner is …

Anita Peiker!! As the winner of my first drawing, you’ll receive an advance copy of West of Nowhere as soon as I get it from the printer, probably sometime next month. Contact me through the website with your mailing address, please.

If you saw my post a couple of days ago on FB, you already know I actually had the deadline wrong for the end of Lambda Literary‘s fundraising campaign. It wasn’t last Monday but next Tuesday. That was my bad, so I decided to have one drawing for those already entered, and I’ll throw everyone else back in the pot for a second drawing next week. That gives the early birds two chances to win, and everyone else one last try. Details here on how to win.

Thanks a million to Pam Sloss & JJ Crabb for taking advantage of the “Buy It Now” feature. Again, please contact me with your address.

with Jen WrightI learned today that both of my 2012 titles have been shortlisted for Goldie Awards: Playing With Fuego in Romantic Intrigue, and Rhapsody in Traditional Contemporary Romance. That’s just so damn cool! Congratulations to all the finalists, and I hope to see every one in your finest duds at the Goldie Awards ceremony in Dallas. Here’s a photo from last year of me with author Jen Wright, proving how well we clean up. If you haven’t yet registered, do it now! You don’t want to miss the fun — Lori Lake in a tux, Lynn Ames in a little black dress, Georgia Beers towering over everyone even before she puts on heels, and Lois Glenn in The Hat. And if you haven’t heard already, GERRI HILL will be there!
