Item up for auction w/Update

No, I’m not auctioning Lucy Lawless. I just used that photo to get your attention. Now that I have it, I can tell you about The Greater Good. That’s a recurring theme in the show, Xena: Warrior Princess, and it carried over to fans from the show. The show’s been over for 14 years, but Xena fans still pull together to make good things happen.

One of the causes of the Xenaverse is the Starship Children’s Hospital in Auckland, New Zealand, where Lucy Lawless sits on the board of the Starship Foundation. Mary D runs an annual auction from her AUSXIP site and raises thousands of dollars every year. I’m always happy to donate something.

This year, that something is a special mention of your support on the Acknowledgments page of my book, The Touch of a Woman, to be released from Bella Books next fall. And I’ll follow that with an autographed copy mailed to you wherever you are.

UPDATE on 3/27: The auction has ended. A BIG thank you to the five bidders who pushed the winning total all the way to $340!!! That flurry on the last day was unbelievable. Congrats to JJ Crabb for her winning bid, and I hope the other bidders picked up some nice items elsewhere in the auction. You guys are my heroes.
